Reports to: Co-Heads of Production & Executive Producer.
Contract type: Fixed 1 year contract.
Job location: Hybrid/flexible – Barcelona office.
Salary: €50,000 - €60,000 depending on experience.
Hours: 09:30 - 18:00 (Flexibility will be required when working to deadlines or on shoots).

Overview

We are looking for a highly organised, solutions-focused Mid-Weight Producer to join the team, with a primary focus on delivering large-scale localisation projects across multiple languages, markets and formats.

This role will lead projects through the full production lifecycle, from briefing and planning through to delivery, ensuring work meets client objectives, brand guidelines, deadlines and budget requirements.

Alongside localisation work, the role will also support broader service-based production requests, helping to deliver agile, high-quality production solutions for clients and partners when required.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing high-volume, multi-market localisation workflows, while also being confident supporting wider production needs across live action, post-production and versioning.

The role will require the candidate to work confidently across multiple time zones, with clients and stakeholders globally and remain calm and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.

Key responsibilities

The Mid-weight producer’s responsibilities span all four phases of production:

Development
Collaborating with the creative team & Executive Producer to distil the client brief, working within any established budget parameters.

Pre-production
Scheduling, budgeting, assembling the right team for the project and script transcreation.
Strong pre-production helps reduce costs and delays during production.

Production
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the production, working closely with the creative and post teams, including Editors & Graphic Artists.
Running the budget and cost reporting with finance.
Act as the main point of contact for partners, clients, and third parties.

Post-production
Liaise with the post teams, ensuring the project is delivered to spec, on time and on budget.
Understanding the brand guidelines for each client is essential for the role.

Essential skills & qualifications

The mid-weight producer will be a highly self-motivated individual with the qualities to collaborate with all departments to ensure productions run smoothly.
They must have excellent interpersonal communication skills to foster positive working relationships throughout the team.

Creative
Strong understanding of storytelling, visual communication and post-production workflows.
Confidence interpreting briefs and shaping production approaches.

Technical

Strong knowledge of localisation workflows, including transcreation,subtitling, VO recording, versioning and QC.
Solid understanding of production and post-production processes.
Health & Safety and First Aid qualifications are essential for the role.

Management

Excellent project management, scheduling and budgeting skills.
Strong communication, negotiation and client management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Experience

Demonstrable production experience across localisation, post-production and/or live action workflows.
Experience delivering high-volume, multi-language, multi-marketcontent.
Experience supporting service-based production requests is a strongadvantage.
Existing network of freelance crew, post-production talent and suppliers is beneficial.
